Students will describe properties of a parallelogram’s, rectangle’s, rhombus’s, square’s, and trapezoid’s: sides, angles and diagonals.
Students will sort and classify quadrilaterals, as parallelograms, rectangles, trapezoids, rhombi, and/or squares based on their properties.
Students will compare and contrast properties of parallelogram, rectangle, square, rhombus, and trapezoid.
Students will use Venn Diagrams and flowcharts to show the relationship between quadrilaterals and their properties.
Students will determine an unknown angle measure in a quadrilateral.
Students will determine an unknown side length in a quadrilateral.
Students will justify the measure of unknown angles or sides using properties.
