School Year:2024-2025

Students will represent a practical proportional relationship using a table, graph, and equation.
Students will make connections between and among representations of a proportional relationship between verbal descriptions, tables, equations, and graphs.
Students will determine the slope, m, as a rate of change in a proportional relationship between two quantities from a verbal description or a practical problem.
Students will determine the rate of change (slope) when given a table of values with a proportional relationship.
Students will write an equation in the form y = mx to represent a proportional relationship given a table, graph, or practical situation.
Students will describe how the rate of change (slope) affects the parent graph.
Students will graph a line representing a proportional relationship when given the equation of the line in the form y = mx.
Students will graph a line representing a proportional relationship when given an ordered pair on the line and the slope.
