Students should be collaboratively planning & conducting an investigation to demonstrate that vibrating materials can produce sound & transmit energy, determining data to be collected & organized to identify patterns, and communicating findings.
Students should be creating and interpreting a model of a watershed. (Grade 4 Review)
Students should be describing characteristics of Virginia’s waterways (including rivers, bays, lakes, and the Atlantic Ocean), naming an example of each, and discussing the importance of the waterways to Virginia. (Grade 4 Review)
Students should be explaining how sounds are formed.
Students should be investigating the school yard or local ecosystem to identify questions, problems, or issues that affect a natural resource in that area and determine a possible solution to an identified problem. (Grade 4 Review)
Students should be using evidence to explain the statement, “We all live downstream.”. (Grade 4 Review)
