Student should be applying scientific ideas to design, test, and refine a device that converts energy from one form to another.
Students should be constructing and interpreting a simple model to show the location and order of planets in relation to the sun in our solar system. (Grade 4 Review)
Students should be describing everyday examples of energy changing forms.
Students should be explaining that energy is conserved and cannot be created or destroyed; energy can change forms.
Students should be identifying the energy transformations that occur when energy is used to run a device in the home or school.
Students should be researching the planets and communicate basic characteristics of each, including whether each is terrestrial or a gas giant, and its relative location in the solar system. (Grade 4 Review)
