Students should be comparing energy sources, including their benefits and limitations.
Students should be creating a model that demonstrates the motions of the moon, sun, and Earth and use it to describe how the main phases of the moon occur (i.e., new moon, first quarter, full moon, and last quarter). (Grade 4 Review)
Students should be identifying the type(s) of energy used in the home or school to power devices and research the origin of the identified energy, including how long it takes to form, and classifying it as either a renewable or nonrenewable source.
Students should be modeling and describing how the Earth’s rotation results in day and night. (Grade 4 Review)
