Students should be explaining the difference between weather and climate and the effect climate has on an ecosystem. (Grade 4 Review)
Students should be locating, charting, and reporting weathering, erosion, & deposition at home or school grounds; creating and implementing a plan to reduce weathering, erosion, and/or deposition problems that may be found and discussing the results.
Students should be making observations and/or measurements to provide evidence of the effects of weathering or the rate of erosion by water, ice, or wind.
Students should be modeling weathering, erosion, and deposition and explaining the benefits and limitations of the model(s) created.
