Students should be giving examples of the major contributions of ancient Egypt (Hieroglyphics; paper made from papyrus, 365-day calendar, clock; pyramids).
Students should be observing and analyzing visual information sources in order to determine characteristics of ancient Egyptian culture (in preparation for the District Performance Assessment).
Students should be explaining how ancient Egypt's location along the Nile River helped them to meet their needs.
