Students should be asking questions and making predictions based on observations.
Students should be communicating observations and data using simple graphs, drawings, numbers, speech, and/or writing.
Students should be determining a resource in the school or home that may be conserved, brainstorm solutions, and implement a plan to address the concern.
Students should be identifying a simple problem that can be solved through the development of a new tool or improved object.
Students should be making simple conclusions based on data or observations.
Students should be using and sharing pictures, drawings, and/or writings of observations.
Students should be with guidance, conducting investigations to produce data and identify characteristics and properties of objects by observations.
