Students should be creating and interpreting a physical model/drawing of a plant, including roots, stem, leaves, and flowers to identify and explain the functions of each plant part.
Students should be describing basic life needs of plants.
Students should be explaining the functions of the root, stem, and leaf.
Students should be with guidance, conducting simple investigations to determine is plants need sunlight and water to grow.
