Students should be developing an understanding of the engineering design process.
Students should be developing skills in posing simple questions, conducting simple investigations, observing, classifying, and communicating information about the natural world.
Students should be identifying types of precipitation as rain, snow, and ice. Describe the temperature conditions of each type of precipitation.
Students should be observing and recording seasonal data throughout the year including relative temperature, amount of precipitation and relative amount of sunlight. Comparing and contrasting recorded data.
Students should be representing data in tables and graphical displays to describe typical weather conditions expected during a particular season.
